this thought strike to me while i was washing my cloths resuming the movie "miral" , actually it doesn't have any straight connection but it is something else..
i am a media student who read , think ,learn and of course make films and my almost faculty is responsible for that , now here i have some classmates in my class and faculty who think that Indian cinema is far behind as compare to global cinema , during class in rest time they talk about word movies , they didn't like "DABANNG" , they eventually think that Indian cinema is not serious , GUZAARISH ,UDAAN etc were meaning full effort . i do hear them a lot , things like we are not serious , we don't want to experiment as many more things like these..
now i actually want to ask them via this blog that what the hell they are doing here ? why don't they go to so call world cinema countries? why don't they themselves do experiments ? have they seen "DABANNG" in a single screen theater ? have they know the story behind "AVTAAR" ? any apparent effort is related to India any how ..and as far as the quality and experiment is concern if we start getting resources that we need, we will eventually be the most in that manner also . they at least should appreciate the efforts behind the current creations and should know about our cinema and literature first then should think about "WORLD CINEMA" .
